Jugal’s celebrates 98 Years of serving sweets and smiles in the city

 

Kolkata, 3rd April 2021- Jugals, a brand who has won hearts of many, is one of the most popular sweet shops in Kolkata. Named after Jugal Kishore Ghosh, Jugal’s started its journey in 1923 and the brand still continues to retain its popularity till date. Making a benchmark in the industry, Jugal’s celebrates its successful 98 years in the city in the esteemed presence of Ms. Koneenica Banerjee, Popular Tollywood Actress, Mr. Kesto Ghosh, Owner, Jugal’s and Ms. Lahana Ghosh, Finance and Operations Manager, Jugal’s. The occasion also witnessed the grand opening of the new outlet of Jugal’s on Sarat Bose road at Landsdown Market which added to the fun and fervor.



The very mention of the word Jugal’s evokes the sensation and feeling of sweetness. Almost a century old, Jugal’s is most coveted for its Misthi Doi, there are many other sweets that patrons come here for— Kacha golla and Chanar Jilipi, Baked Roshogolla, Pranohara, Kora pak Sandesh, Danadar, Malai Chamcham and much more delicacies. They also offer snacks like the authentic Alu Shingara, crowd favourite- Radhaballabi, Vegetable chop, Khasta Kachori and a wide range of Channachur and Gathiya. With changing time, the brand has also understood the varying taste of customers and has always come up with several varieties of sweets.

The cost for two at Jugal’s is pocket friendly of Rupees 150/- plus taxes and the operational timing is 8:30 am to 10 pm. At present, Jugal’s has several branches in different parts of the city like Rasbehari, Park Circus, Landsdown and College Street.
